About the role
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Marketing Manager to lead our integrated marketing initiatives across events, digital platforms, and content creation.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and influence the marketing direction of a dynamic organization, leveraging best practices from leading companies in the industry. This role is pivotal in our growth within the US market, you will be instrumental in making our success a reality and driving our brand presence.
Our team is 7 people in the US, and 80 globally with HQ in Sydney. You will be working with a range of disciplines from sales, marketing science, product and R&D, so be prepared for a dynamic environment.
Drawing inspiration from industry leaders, the ideal candidate will blend creativity with analytical prowess to deliver impactful marketing campaigns. You will report into the Head of Marketing based in Melbourne, Australia and work closely with Sales Leadership and company leadership to tell the story of our marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align events, digital campaigns, and content initiatives to drive brand awareness and business growth.
Event Marketing Leadership: Plan and oversee the execution of high-impact events, including conferences, webinars, and experiential activations, ensuring seamless integration with overall marketing objectives.
Digital Campaign Management: Lead digital marketing efforts across SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and display advertising to maximize reach and engagement.
Content Strategy & Development: Create and manage a content roadmap that includes blogs, whitepapers, videos, and case studies, positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Analytics & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on events, digital, and content marketing.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Experience in B2B technology or digital advertising sectors
Have existing relationships within trade publications and key industry players in the advertising technology industry
Familiarity with data-driven marketing approaches and a different advertising platforms/tools
